 AN ACT to amend the New York city civil court act, in relation to  hous-
   ing courts
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Section 110 of the New York city civil court act is amended
 by adding a new subdivision (r) to read as follows:
   (R) (1)  A  PART  OF  THE  COURT  SHALL  BE  DEVOTED  TO  ACTIONS  AND
 PROCEEDINGS WHERE:
   (I) THE PETITIONER AND THE RESPONDENT ARE NATURAL PERSONS; OR
   (II)  THE  PETITIONER IS A NATURAL PERSON SHAREHOLDER CONSTITUTING ONE
 HUNDRED PERCENT OWNERSHIP OF A CORPORATION AND AT LEAST ONE  SHAREHOLDER
 RESIDES ON-PREMISES FULL TIME.
   (2)  HOUSING  JUDGES SHALL BE APPOINTED PURSUANT TO SUBDIVISION (F) OF
 THIS SECTION.
   (3) FOR EVERY TWO MILLION RESIDENTS, ROUNDED UP TO THE  NEXT  MILLION,
 SUCH  HOUSING  COURT SHALL CONSIST OF ONE HOUSING PART, TWO TRIAL PARTS,
 AND TWO RESOLUTION PARTS.
   § 2. Section 102-a of the New York city civil court act is amended  by
 adding a new subdivision 5 to read as follows:
   5. HOUSING JUDGES NECESSARY FOR HOUSING COURTS ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO
 SUBDIVISION  (R)  OF  SECTION  ONE  HUNDRED TEN OF THIS ARTICLE SHALL BE
 APPOINTED PURSUANT TO SUBDIVISION (F) OF SUCH SECTION.
   § 3. This act shall take effect one year after it shall have become  a
 law.    Effective  immediately, the addition, amendment and/or repeal of
 any rule or regulation necessary for the implementation of this  act  on
 its  effective date are authorized to be made and completed on or before
 such effective date.

 AN  ACT to amend the New York city civil court act, in relation to hous-

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 ING ONE HUNDRED PERCENT OWNERSHIP OF A  CORPORATION  AND  AT  LEAST  ONE
 SHAREHOLDER  RESIDES  ON-PREMISES  FULL TIME OF A PROPERTY CONSISTING OF
 TEN RESIDENTIAL UNITS OR FEWER.
   (2) HOUSING JUDGES SHALL BE APPOINTED PURSUANT TO SUBDIVISION  (F)  OF
 THIS SECTION.
   (3)  FOR  EVERY TWO MILLION RESIDENTS, ROUNDED UP TO THE NEXT MILLION,
 SUCH HOUSING COURT SHALL CONSIST OF ONE HOUSING PART, TWO  TRIAL  PARTS,
 AND  TWO  RESOLUTION  PARTS.  THE  OFFICE  OF COURT ADMINISTRATION SHALL
 IMPLEMENT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBDIVISION ON A  CITY-WIDE  BASIS  AND
 SHALL  PROMULGATE  ANY  STANDARDS  AND GOALS NECESSARY TO ADJUDICATE THE
 ACTIONS AND PROCEEDINGS PURSUANT TO THIS SUBDIVISION WITHIN ONE  HUNDRED
 TWENTY DAYS OF THE  COMMENCEMENT OF SUCH ACTIONS AND PROCEEDINGS.

 THE REAL PROPERTY LAW.
   (2)  HOUSING  JUDGES SHALL BE APPOINTED PURSUANT TO SUBDIVISION (F) OF
 THIS SECTION.
   (3) FOR EVERY TWO MILLION RESIDENTS, ROUNDED UP TO THE  NEXT  MILLION,
 SUCH  HOUSING  COURT SHALL CONSIST OF ONE HOUSING PART, TWO TRIAL PARTS,
 AND TWO RESOLUTION PARTS.  THE  OFFICE  OF  COURT  ADMINISTRATION  SHALL
 IMPLEMENT  THE  PROVISIONS  OF THIS SUBDIVISION ON A CITY-WIDE BASIS AND
