S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 9485 I N S E N A T E May 16, 2024 ___________ Introduced by Sen. CLEARE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Commerce, Economic Devel- opment and Small Business AN ACT to authorize the empire state development corporation to rescind any approved general project plan for non-compliance with agreements made thereto THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the empire state development corporation is authorized to rescind any general project plan approved by such corporation for non- compliance with any agreements made as part of such general project plan, including, but not limited to, community benefits agreements. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD15625-01-4
