 Introduced  by  Sen.  COONEY -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Labor
 
 AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to a minimum operator age for
   amusement devices
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section  1.  The labor law is amended by adding a new section 870-p to
 read as follows:
   § 870-P. MINIMUM OPERATOR AGE. THE COMMISSIONER SHALL PROMULGATE RULES
 AND REGULATIONS WHICH  SHALL  AUTHORIZE  COMPETENT  OPERATORS  AT  LEAST
 SIXTEEN YEARS OF AGE TO OPERATE ALL AMUSEMENT DEVICES.
   §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
