 Introduced  by  Sen.  MARTINEZ  --  (at  request  of  the State Board of
   Elections) -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed  to  be
   committed to the Committee on Elections
 
 AN  ACT to amend the election law, in relation to requiring the board of
   elections to transmit election results to the clerk of certain cities,
   towns and villages

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section  9-212 of the election law is amended by adding a
 new subdivision 5 to read as follows:
   5. THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS SHALL TRANSMIT TO THE CLERK OF  EVERY  CITY,
 TOWN  OR  VILLAGE  FOR  WHICH IT IS THE BOARD OF CANVASSERS THE ELECTION
 RESULTS FOR SUCH CITY, TOWN OR VILLAGE.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
