SLATER -- read once and referred to the Committee on Children and Families AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to directing the office of children and family services to develop a list of eligible substi- tute day care staff THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The executive law is amended by adding a new section 501-i to read as follows: § 501-I. ELIGIBLE SUBSTITUTE DAY CARE STAFF LIST. THE OFFICE OF CHIL- DREN AND FAMILY SERVICES SHALL DEVELOP AND POST A LIST OF ELIGIBLE SUBSTITUTE DAY CARE STAFF TO BE USED BY A CHILD DAY CARE PROVIDER IN A TIME OF NEED. SUCH LIST SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, SUCH ELIGIBLE STAFFER'S: 1. NAME; 2. AGE; 3. LOCATION; AND 4. EXPERIENCE. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
