 AN ACT to amend  the  tax  law,  in  relation  to  municipal  sales  tax
   collections  posted on the department of taxation and finance internet
   website

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  The  tax law is amended by adding a new section 171-bb to
 read as follows:
   § 171-BB. STATEWIDE MUNICIPAL TAXES  POSTING  SYSTEM.  THE  DEPARTMENT
 SHALL  DESIGN, DEVELOP, COMPILE, IMPLEMENT AND OPERATE AN ANNUAL MUNICI-
 PAL SALES TAX POSTING SYSTEM FOR THE POSTING AND DISPLAY ON THE  DEPART-
 MENT'S  INTERNET  WEBSITE OF THE AMOUNT OF YEARLY SALES TAX COLLECTED IN
 EACH MUNICIPALITY IN THE STATE PURSUANT TO SUBPART  B  OF  PART  ONE  OF
 ARTICLE TWENTY-NINE OF THIS CHAPTER. SUCH INFORMATION SHALL BE POSTED ON
 THE  DEPARTMENT'S  INTERNET  WEBSITE  BY COUNTY AND INCLUDE EACH MUNICI-
 PALITY WITHIN SUCH COUNTY.
   § 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred twentieth day after
 it shall have become a law. Effective immediately, the addition,  amend-
 ment and/or repeal of any rule or regulation necessary for the implemen-
 tation  of  this act on its effective date are authorized to be made and
 completed on or before such effective date.
