 AN  ACT to amend the New York city health and hospitals corporation act,
   in relation to requiring compliance with the city's uniform  land  use
   review  procedure  for  the  disposition  of  land or buildings by the
   corporation

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. Subdivision 6 of section 5 of section 1 of chapter 1016 of
 the laws of 1969, constituting the New York city  health  and  hospitals
 corporation act, is amended to read as follows:
   6.  To  acquire,  by purchase, gift, devise, lease or sublease, and to
 accept jurisdiction over and to hold and own, and dispose  of  by  sale,
 lease  or sublease, real or personal property, including but not limited
 to a  health  facility,  or  any  interest  therein  for  its  corporate
 purposes; provided, however, that no health facility or other real prop-
 erty acquired or constructed by the corporation shall be sold, leased or
 otherwise  transferred by the corporation without [public hearing by the
 corporation after twenty days public notice and without the  consent  of
 the  board  of  estimate  of  the city] FOLLOWING AND COMPLYING WITH THE
 PROVISIONS OF THE CITY'S UNIFORM LAND USE REVIEW PROCEDURE;
   § 2. Subdivision 4 of section 7 of section 1 of chapter  1016  of  the
 laws of 1969, constituting the New York city health and hospitals corpo-
 ration act, is amended to read as follows:
   4.  If  the  corporation  determines that the use and occupancy of any
 real property is no longer  required  for  its  corporate  purposes  and
 powers,  then if such real property was acquired at the cost and expense
 of the city, the corporation shall, subject to the provisions of section
 five, paragraph six, have power to surrender its use  and  occupancy  to
 the  city.  The  corporation shall, subject to the provisions of section
 five, paragraph six, have power to sell, lease or otherwise  dispose  of
