COMMEMORATING the 75th Anniversary of Eck Plastic
Arts
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing the economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Eck Plastic Arts of Binghamton, New
York; and
WHEREAS, Eck Plastic Arts, the producer of quality plastic parts for
original equipment manufacturers, was founded in 1949 and has been a
steadfast presence in the community for 75 years; still today, the
company maintains an unbreakable commitment to its employees, customers,
and community; and
WHEREAS, The Mission Statement of Eck Plastic Arts asserts the
company will hire and train good people, investing in them so they can
invest in their community; continually improve its processes, ensuring
on-time, cost-effective projects; and deliver the highest quality
plastic parts, motivating confidence in every partnership; and
WHEREAS, Since its inception, Eck Plastic Arts has remained in
Binghamton, committed to growing alongside the community it calls home;
the company has expanded from 14 employees seven years ago to 25 workers
today; frequently, there is a need for a second shift to meet the
increasing demand; and
WHEREAS, The dedication to excellence has earned Eck Plastic Arts
industry-wide recognition; the company was bestowed the BAE Systems
Partner 2 Win Supplier of the Year Award in both 2018 and 2023; and
WHEREAS, Eck Plastic Arts prides itself on producing parts right the
first time and delivering them on time, earning the trust and loyalty of
its customers; regardless of the size of an order, consumers will
receive excellent customer service and products of only the highest
quality; and
WHEREAS, Eck Plastic Arts is always expanding and exemplifying its
Mission Statement; possessing its proud heritage, the company
anticipates a future of continued innovation and contribution to the
plastics industry; there are plans to foster growth locally, continuing
to contribute to the Binghamton area's economy and job market; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pride that Eck Plastic Arts and its
dedicated workers celebrate this milestone 75th Anniversary and
anticipate many more years of success for generations to come; and
WHEREAS, The progression of Eck Plastic Arts is in direct
correlation to the efforts of its owners and employees, whose
involvement is, and always has been, characterized by an impressive
commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of
excellence in all endeavors on behalf of the business and the community
it serves; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business, its contributions to the local
and State economies, and its vibrant role in improving the quality of
life in its community, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy
the success it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Eck Plastic Arts; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Eck Plastic Arts.
