COMMEMORATING the 24th Anniversary of the
International Pentecostal City Mission Food Program
on February 8, 2025

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those organizations of high purpose and worthy
accomplishment whose endeavors have faithfully served the welfare of the
citizens of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 24th Anniversary of the International Pentecostal City
Mission Food Program, to be celebrated at its Annual Awards Banquet on
Saturday, February 8, 2025; and

WHEREAS, Since its inception, the International Pentecostal City
Mission Food Program has remained steadfast in its mission to combat
hunger, provide essential resources, and uplift underserved communities
in New York City; and

WHEREAS, For over two decades, this esteemed organization has served
as a beacon of hope and sustenance, distributing thousands of meals
annually to individuals and families in need, with particular focus on
supporting vulnerable populations, including seniors, children, and
those facing economic hardship; and

WHEREAS, The success of the International Pentecostal City Mission
Food Program is a direct result of the unwavering dedication of its
leadership, volunteers, and supporters, who have tirelessly worked to
meet the ever-growing demand for food security and community support;
and

WHEREAS, The 24th Anniversary Awards Banquet serves as a momentous
occasion to honor the program's remarkable achievements and recognize
the exceptional contributions of individuals and organizations who have
partnered in its noble mission; and

WHEREAS, The International Pentecostal City Mission Food Program has
continually demonstrated its commitment to creating a more compassionate
and equitable society, addressing not only the physical needs of the
community but also fostering a spirit of unity, kindness, and service;
and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is moved to acknowledge the profound
impact of the International Pentecostal City Mission Food Program and to
applaud its enduring efforts to improve the lives of so many; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 24th Anniversary of the International Pentecostal City
Mission Food Program on February 8, 2025, and to honor its extraordinary
legacy of service to the residents of New York; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the International Pentecostal City Mission Food Program.
