COMMENDING Spring Forward Hope for Pink upon the
occasion of hosting its Pink and Pearls Brunch:
Mind, Body, and Soul, on March 30, 2025

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those distinguished organizations whose efforts promote health,
wellness, and empowerment, ensuring that individuals and communities are
supported and uplifted; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Spring Forward Hope for Pink upon the occasion of hosting its
Pink and Pearls Brunch: Mind, Body, and Soul, on Sunday, March 30, 2025,
in Brooklyn, New York; this purposeful event is dedicated to empowering
women and fostering wellness, resilience, and community support; and

WHEREAS, Spring Forward Hope for Pink is a nonprofit organization
whose mission is to empower and support women at every stage of their
cancer journey with knowledge, guidance, and resources, ensuring that no
woman faces this battle alone; and

WHEREAS, Under the visionary leadership of Cynthia Jean, LMSW, LSW,
Founder & Executive Director, Spring Forward Hope for Pink has been at
the forefront of raising awareness about breast cancer, advocating for
early detection, and promoting overall health and well-being for women
in the community; and

WHEREAS, The Pink and Pearls Brunch: Mind, Body, and Soul builds
upon the success of previous initiatives, including the Sweat Fete Pink
Awareness Health and Fitness event, reinforcing the organization's
commitment to holistic wellness through education, fitness, and
emotional support; and

WHEREAS, This meaningful event serves as a beacon of hope, strength,
and sisterhood, providing a platform for women to come together in
solidarity, share their stories, and gain access to valuable resources
that promote self-care, mental health, and physical well-being; and

WHEREAS, Through its continued efforts, Spring Forward Hope for Pink
exemplifies the power of advocacy, community-driven initiatives, and
compassionate service in improving the lives of those affected by breast
cancer and health disparities; and

WHEREAS, It is fitting and proper that this Legislative Body pause
in its deliberations to acknowledge the significance of this event and
to recognize the profound contributions of Spring Forward Hope for Pink
in fostering awareness, wellness, and empowerment; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Spring Forward Hope for Pink upon the occasion of hosting the
Pink and Pearls Brunch: Mind, Body, and Soul, and to extend sincere
appreciation to its members, organizers, and participants for their
enduring commitment to community health and wellness; and be it further


RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Cynthia Jean and Spring Forward Hope for Pink.
