COMMENDING the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand
Lodge of New York upon the occasion of its 180th
Annual Grand Session

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those organizations of high purpose and worthy
accomplishment whose endeavors have faithfully served the welfare of the
citizens of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New York upon the
occasion of its 180th Annual Grand Session; and

WHEREAS, The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New York, a
revered and historic institution, has continually embodied the
principles of "Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth" and has long stood as
a beacon of service and leadership to the communities of the State of
New York; and

WHEREAS, Established in 1812 and officially chartered in 1848, the
Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge has upheld a legacy of
resilience, unity, and dedication to justice, equality, and community
empowerment, while strengthening the moral and spiritual foundations of
countless individuals; and

WHEREAS, The Annual Grand Session provides an opportunity for the
distinguished members of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge to
reflect on their shared mission, evaluate their accomplishments, and
chart a course for the future while simultaneously reinforcing the bonds
of fellowship and collective service; and

WHEREAS, This 180th Annual Grand Session continues a proud tradition
of convening leaders who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to
charitable works, educational initiatives, and advocacy efforts which
benefit the most vulnerable populations within their reach; and

WHEREAS, The success of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge
of New York is in direct correlation to the efforts of its esteemed
leadership, including the Most Worshipful Grand Master and the diligent
officers and members who serve with vision, integrity, and an
uncompromising standard of excellence; and

WHEREAS, The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New York has
truly demonstrated continuous service to the residents and communities
it serves, maintaining an extraordinary commitment to fostering unity,
uplifting humanity, and improving the quality of life for all; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New York, upon
the occasion of its 180th Annual Grand Session, and to recognize its

significant contributions to the heritage and progress of the great
State of New York; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the Most Worshipful Grand Master of the Most Worshipful
Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New York.
