HONORING Tim Ryan, upon the occasion of his
designation for special recognition after 50 years
of dedicated service to Chanatry's Hometown Market,
on April 18, 2025
WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Tim Ryan,
upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition after 50
years of dedicated service to Chanatry's Hometown Market in Utica, New
York, on Friday, April 18, 2025; and
WHEREAS, Tim Ryan is a trained and skilled Meat Cutter and has
worked in the Meat Department his entire 50-year employment; and
WHEREAS, While he is not working, providing exceptional service to
the patrons of Chanatry's Hometown Market, Tim Ryan enjoys spending time
with his wife, Julie, and his daughter, Kelsey; he is a fan of the New
York Yankees and the Minnesota Vikings; traveling and skiing are two of
his favorite activities; and
WHEREAS, Tim Ryan offers 50 years of experience, serving his
customers and providing loyalty and dependable longevity while employed
by Chanatry's Hometown Market, Mohawk Valley's award-winning supermarket
and a cornerstone of the Utica community since 1912; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Tim Ryan has displayed
throughout his life; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Tim Ryan, upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition after 50 years of dedicated service to Chanatry's Hometown
Market, on April 18, 2025; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Tim Ryan.
