 Introduced  by  Sen.  FAHY  --  read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Disabilities
 
 AN ACT to amend chapter 670 of the laws of 2021 requiring the office for
   people with developmental disabilities to establish  the  care  demon-
   stration program, in relation to the effectiveness thereof

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 670 of the laws of 2021 requiring  the
 office  for people with developmental disabilities to establish the care
 demonstration program, as amended by section 13 of part B of chapter  57
 of the laws of 2024, is amended to read as follows:
   §  3.  This  act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be
 deemed repealed March 31, [2026] 2028.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
