S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 57 2025-2026 Regular Sessions I N S E N A T E (PREFILED) January 8, 2025 ___________ Introduced by Sens. GALLIVAN, BORRELLO -- read twice and ordered print- ed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Education AN ACT to amend chapter 396 of the laws of 2012, amending the education law relating to services to out-of-state school districts by boards of cooperative educational services, in relation to making the provisions thereof permanent THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 4 of chapter 396 of the laws of 2012 amending the education law relating to services to out-of-state school districts by boards of cooperative educational services, as amended by chapter 133 of the laws of 2024, is amended to read as follows: § 4. This act shall take effect immediately [and shall expire and be deemed repealed July 1, 2029]. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD00329-01-5
