MAYER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Govern- ment Operations AN ACT to amend the tax law, in relation to making technical changes; and to amend chapter 507 of the laws of 2016, relating to the imposi- tion of an occupancy tax in the village of Harrison, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 1202-dd of the tax law, as added by chapter 507 of the laws of 2016, is renumbered section 1202-dd-1. § 2. Section 2 of chapter 507 of the laws of 2016, relating to the imposition of an occupancy tax in the village of Harrison, as amended by chapter 423 of the laws of 2022, is amended to read as follows: § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed September 1, [2025] 2027. § 3. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD10305-01-5
