 Introduced  by  Sen.  MAY  --  read  twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Govern-
   ment Operations
 
 AN ACT to amend chapter 308 of the laws of 2023, amending  the  tax  law
   relating  to authorizing an occupancy tax in the village of Weedsport,
   in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. Section 2 of chapter 308 of the laws of 2023, amending the
 tax law relating to authorizing an  occupancy  tax  in  the  village  of
 Weedsport, is amended to read as follows:
   §  2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire December
 31, [2025] 2027 when upon such date the provisions of this act shall  be
 deemed repealed.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
