Evaluation; research programs; report by board
Cannabis (CAN) CHAPTER 7-A, ARTICLE 3
§ 37. Evaluation; research programs; report by board. 1. The board may
provide for the analysis and evaluation of the operation of this
article. The board may enter into agreements with one or more persons,
not-for-profit corporations or other organizations, for the performance
of an evaluation of the implementation and effectiveness of this
article.
2. The board may develop, seek any necessary federal approval for, and
carry out research programs relating to medical use of cannabis.
Participation in any such research program shall be voluntary on the
part of practitioners, patients, and designated caregivers.
3. The board shall report every two years, beginning two years after
the effective date of this article, to the governor and the legislature
on the medical use of cannabis under this article and make appropriate
recommendations.
