State aid for certain higher educational institutions

§ 358. State aid for certain higher educational institutions. 1.
State financial assistance may be provided for designated shares of
capital expenditures or operating expenditures or both to the following
types of institutions operating in conjunction with the state university
program:
a. Medical schools, dental schools, research centers and similar
institutions or facilities operating specified training or research
programs or projects pursuant to contracts with the state university.
The state university is hereby authorized to enter into such contracts
with the city university of New York. The acceptance of any such
financial assistance or the making of any such contract by or on behalf
of a medical school, dental school, research center or similar
institution or facility shall not subject it or its programs to
supervision, control or regulation by the state university trustees
except to the extent that such supervision, control or regulation are
expressly stated in the contract.
b. Community colleges.
c. Post-secondary technical vocational training institutions which are
partly supported by a municipality or board of education and partly
supported by an educational foundation for an industry chartered by the
board of regents.
