§ 4603. Practical arts. 1. The board of education of each school
district may establish and maintain non-vocational practical arts tryout
or exploratory courses in industrial arts, home economics, business and
agriculture.

2. Such practical arts courses and exploratory courses shall be
classified as general education. The schools which offer such courses
shall not designate them as trade, technical or occupational courses.
