Judgments; execution and enforcement
General Obligations (GOB) CHAPTER 24-A, ARTICLE 12
§ 12-109. Judgments; execution and enforcement. 1. The provisions of
the civil practice law and rules relating to the exemption of certain
real and personal property from execution and enforcement of civil
judgments shall not apply to judgment rendered in favor of the plaintiff
under this article.
2. Any assets subject to an administrative, civil or criminal
forfeiture proceeding under state or federal law or which have been
seized for forfeiture by any state or federal agency may not be used to
satisfy a judgment under this article unless and until such assets have
been released following the conclusion of the forfeiture action or
released by the agency that seized such assets.
