Unlawful interference with a railroad train
Railroad (RRD) CHAPTER 49, ARTICLE 3
§ 53-e. Unlawful interference with a railroad train. A person is
guilty of unlawful interference with a railroad train when he wilfully
with intent to disrupt, delay, or disturb service, places, causes to be
placed, drops, or positions an object or objects of any kind, on, under,
or upon the tracks which does or could cause physical damage to railroad
equipment or property or physical injury to passengers or both.
Unlawful interference with a railroad train is a class D felony;
provided, however, that such classification shall not apply in any case
in which an offense having a higher classification for the purpose of
sentence is charged under any other provision of law.
