Special events fund
State Finance (STF) CHAPTER 56, ARTICLE 6
§ 99-dd. Special events fund. 1. Notwithstanding sections eight,
eight-a and seventy of this chapter and any other provision of law,
rule, regulation, or practice to the contrary, there is hereby
established in the joint custody of the state comptroller and the
commissioner of taxation and finance a special events fund, which shall
be classified by the state comptroller as an enterprise fund type, and
which shall consist of all moneys received from private entities and
individuals as fees for the use of physical space at state-owned
facilities, including, but not limited to, the Empire State Plaza and
Harriman Campus, and any other miscellaneous fees associated with the
use of such physical space at such state-owned facilities by private
entities and individuals.
2. Moneys within the special events fund shall be available to the
commissioner of general services for services and expenses of the office
relating to the use of state-owned facilities by private entities and
individuals.
