LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Michelle Medoff upon the occasion
of being named Miss Long Island 2014
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord with
its long-standing traditions, honoring the youth of today, and leaders
of tomorrow, whose character and achievements best exemplify the ideals
and values cherished by this great State and Nation; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to congratulate
Michelle Medoff of Great Neck, New York, upon the occasion of being
named Miss Long Island 2014, after competing against 37 of Long Island's
most accomplished young women; and
WHEREAS, Through her active involvement in the community and her
sincere dedication to her generation, Michelle Medoff is a role model
for her peers; and
WHEREAS, This remarkable young woman truly exemplifies the best poten-
tial which is inherent in our most precious resource, our youth; she has
brought enduring honor to her family and her community through her many
achievements; and
WHEREAS, Poised eagerly with enthusiasm and determined purpose,
Michelle Medoff now stands honorably, with just pride in her accomplish-
ments and in eager anticipation of future challenges, understanding and
appreciating the love and support from her family, friends and communi-
ty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Michelle Medoff upon the occasion of being named Miss Long
Island 2014, and to wish her success in all her future endeavors; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Michelle Medoff.
