LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Christopher Netto upon the occa-
sion of capturing the 2013 Northern New York Junior Golf Tournament
Championship

WHEREAS, Excellence and success in competitive sports can be achieved
only through strenuous practice, team play and team spirit, nurtured by
dedicated coaching and strategic planning; and
WHEREAS, Athletic competition enhances the moral and physical develop-
ment of the young people of this State, preparing them for the future by
instilling in them the value of teamwork, encouraging a standard of
healthy living, imparting a desire for success and developing a sense of
fair play and competition; and
WHEREAS, Christopher Netto is the 2013 Northern New York Golf Tourna-
ment Champion; and
WHEREAS, A resident of Watertown, New York, Christopher Netto achieved
the best overall golf score among 13 and 14 year olds, after competing
in eight separate golf tournaments; and
WHEREAS, After winning the July 29, 2013 tournament at the Adams Coun-
try Club, Christopher Netto clinched the final tournament event win at
the Watertown Golf Club on August 8, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Christopher Netto's overall record is outstanding; he shot a
remarkable average nine-hole score of 41, and was loyally and enthusi-
astically supported by family, fans, friends and the community at large;
and
WHEREAS, Athletically, Christopher Netto has proven himself to be an
unbeatable combination of talents, reflecting favorably on his communi-
ty; and
WHEREAS, Through his years of dedication, his relentless diligence,
and his countless hours of practice, Christopher Netto has truly
achieved excellence in the sport of golf; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Christopher Netto for his outstanding athletic achievement and
to extend to him the best wishes of this Legislative Body for a future
of purposeful success and well-being, fully confident of his response to
a promising future and appreciative of the model he represents for all
aspiring young people of the Empire State; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Christopher Netto.
