LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Davin Krzykowski for her heroic
efforts as a member of Albany County EMS upon the occasion of being
honored by the Nathaniel Adams Blanchard Post 1040 of the American
Legion at its Community Award Ceremony

WHEREAS, Volunteer ambulance corps members are an important part of the
safety net of America's healthcare system; they provide lifesaving care
to those in need, 24 hours a day, seven days a week; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those individuals within the State of New York who, in the
course of their jobs, perform acts of heroic dimension; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Davin Krzykowski for her heroic efforts as a member of Albany County EMS
upon the occasion of being honored by the Nathaniel Adams Blanchard Post
1040 of the American Legion; she will be celebrated by the Post at its
Community Awards Ceremony on Monday, March 3, 2014, in Delmar, New York;
and
WHEREAS, EMT Davin Krzykowski has been designated recipient of the
Fire Services Lifesaving Award for her role in treating an elderly resi-
dent of Slingerlands, New York, who was trapped in a fire on September
12, 2013; and
WHEREAS, On many occasions, EMT Davin Krzykowski has acted with brav-
ery and steady precision in dealing with the risk and drama of emergency
situations; and
WHEREAS, EMT Davin Krzykowski is known within her community for excel-
lence and professionalism, always going the extra mile in the provision
of care to people in need; her hard work embodies the dedication,
compassion, and respect displayed by emergency responders across this
great Empire State; and
WHEREAS, In the performance of her duties, Davin Krzykowski has demon-
strated her character and her concern for the welfare of others; she is
a tremendous asset to Albany County EMS, and a distinguished citizen of
the State and Nation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Davin Krzykowski for her heroic efforts as a member of Albany
County EMS upon the occasion of being honored by the Nathaniel Adams
Blanchard Post 1040 of the American Legion; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to EMT Davin Krzykowski.
