LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Minister Kenny H. Crandon upon the occa-
sion of her designation for special recognition by the Ambassador for
Christ International Outreach Ministry and Gateway Christian Center on
Sunday, May 4, 2014

WHEREAS, The character and richness of religious and community life in
this noble Empire State are nourished and fulfilled through the faithful
concern and selfless devotion of those who would commit their energies
and purpose to the ministry of others; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to bring full recog-
nition and just tribute to those individuals who distinguish themselves
and the ministry through their unremitting commitment and preeminence of
service; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Minister Kenny
H. Crandon upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition
by the Ambassador for Christ International Outreach Ministry and Gateway
Christian Center at its 4th Annual Pastors and Women of Distinction
Appreciation Awards Gala on Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Floral Terrace,
Floral Park, New York; and
WHEREAS, Minister Kenny H. Crandon is being recognized for her exem-
plary work and commitment to her community, which serves to empower
others; and
WHEREAS, Kenny Oddetta Murray was born on November 25 1972, in Guyana,
South America; after much teasing, she changed her name to KennyHannah
Adira Odele Crandon, in 2013; Hannah translates to grace in the English
language, Adira speaks of strength, and Odele means song and rich; and
WHEREAS, Currently, KennyHannah and her husband serve in the worship
ministry at Winners Throne of Grace Church; she also serves as Assistant
Treasurer for the Priceless Ladies of Winners Throne; and
WHEREAS, KennyHannah Crandon is the co-founder of the Pointing The Way
Music Factory Band, a duet band known for the anointed worship they
bring to their audience, as well as a gifted playwright and screen writ-
er; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when a person
of such noble aims and accomplishments is brought to our attention it is
appropriate to publicly and jubilantly proclaim and commend that indi-
vidual for the edification of others; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Minister Kenny H. Crandon upon the occasion of her designation for
special recognition by the Ambassador for Christ International Outreach
Ministry and Gateway Christian Center on Sunday, May 4, 2014, noting her
unremitting and compassionate faith and her exemplary service to God,
man, and her community; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Minister Kenny H. Crandon.
