LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Richard Nacy upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of a Stakeholders Founders Award to be cele-
brated at the Stakeholders' 2014 GOBY Awards Ceremony on April 23, 2014

WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
recognize and acknowledge those within our midst who have made signif-
icant contributions to the quality of life therein; and
WHEREAS, From time to time this Legislative Body takes note of certain
extraordinary individuals it wishes to recognize for their valued
contributions to the success and progress of society and publicly
acknowledge their endeavors which have enhanced the basic humanity among
us all; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Richard Nacy
upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of a Stakeholders
Founders Award to be celebrated at the Stakeholders' 2014 GOBY Awards
Ceremony on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at the GE Theatre at Proctors,
Schenectady, New York; and
WHEREAS, This illustrious award is bestowed upon board members and
staff of Stakeholders, Inc. who had an early and influential impact on
the formation and success of Stakeholders; and
WHEREAS, Since 1996 Richard Nacy has worked in several capacities some
of which include marketing, communications, public relations, community
relations, bookkeeping, database management, as well as in graphic and
web design; and
WHEREAS, Richard Nacy began his own not-for-profit consulting prac-
tice, Metamorph Consulting, in 2012 while launching an independent
record label and music/video production company, Disko Systems LLC, and
serving as Operations Manager for Dining Out For Life International
Association; and
WHEREAS, Active within his community, Richard Nacy has dedicated many
years to fundraising, volunteer coordination, administration and manage-
ment, as well as special event planning for countless organizations; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Richard Nacy has displayed through-
out his life; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Richard Nacy upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
the Stakeholders Founders Award at the Stakeholders' 2014 GOBY Awards
Ceremony on April 23, 2014; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Richard Nacy.
