LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Bobby Kreutz upon the occasion of his
induction into the Warwick Valley Football Hall of Fame by the Warwick
Valley Central School District

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor those indi-
viduals whose exceptional athletic prowess leaves an enduring legacy in
their communities; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Bobby Kreutz upon the occasion of his induction into the Warwick Valley
Football Hall of Fame by the Warwick Valley Central School District in
November of 2013; and
WHEREAS, Bobby Kreutz is a member of the Warwick Valley Football Hall
of Fame Class of 2013; and
WHEREAS, An important figure in the history of the Warwick Valley
Football program, Bobby Kreutz was Warwick's first "44"; as an under-
sized linebacker, he played with reckless abandon and was a role model
to many of the younger players; and
WHEREAS, In 1987 and 1988, Bobby Kreutz played linebacker for Defen-
sive Coordinator George St. Lawrence, where he led the team in tackles;
and
WHEREAS, Bobby Kreutz went on to attend the University of Oklahoma;
upon graduation, he remained in Oklahoma, and is now an Assistant Prin-
cipal in a high school; and
WHEREAS, Bobby Kreutz continues to support the athletic programs of
Warwick Valley Central School District, remaining both a friend and
resource to all; and
WHEREAS, Athletic experts like Bobby Kreutz provide a tremendous
service to the future of our State and Nation, inspiring generations of
student-athletes in their athletic journeys and ensuring their success
in their future years; and
WHEREAS, Bobby Kreutz has clearly been an inspiration to the youth of
the Warwick Valley Central School District, as well as to the communi-
ty-at-large, and accordingly merits recognition and applause for his
impressive dedication to others; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to commend the
efforts of those individuals who work to support our proud tradition of
public education by providing their skills and talents to our schools;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Bobby Kreutz upon the occasion of his induction into the Warwick
Valley Football Hall of Fame by the Warwick Valley Central School
District and Coach John Garcia; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Bobby Kreutz.
