LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending John "JP" Pasquale upon the occasion
of his designation for special recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY
DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, John Pasquale has given not only of his time and energies but
also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend John "JP"
Pasquale upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by
the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, John Pasquale works as an Occupational Therapist with Sulli-
van County Public Health Nursing, based in Liberty, New York, where he
specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of upper extremity inju-
ries, and provides to individuals recovering from injury instruction in
the activities of daily living; and
WHEREAS, For 20 years, John Pasquale has made a positive difference in
the lives of the countless individuals who have turned to him for help
after experiencing the trauma of injury, helping them to regain func-
tionality and independence so that they may return to their careers and
lives; and
WHEREAS, John Pasquale, a resident of Livingston Manor, New York,
earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Florida Inter-
national University in Miami, Florida, and a Bachelor of Biblical
Studies from Calvary Chapel Bible College; and
WHEREAS, Genuinely concerned for the well-being of others, John Pasq-
uale is involved in numerous community organizations; he volunteers with
Livingston Manor Volunteer Ambulance Corps as an EMT, and Livingston
Manor Fire Department as an interior firefighter; this compassionate man
is also a person of faith, working with the Gideons, and donating his
time to Children's Church/Vacation Bible School at two churches in
Livingston Manor; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, John Pasquale has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend John "JP" Pasquale upon the occasion of his designation for
special recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work
Edition; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to John Pasquale.
