LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending John Powlowski upon the occasion of
his designation for special recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY
DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, John Powlowski has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend John Powlow-
ski upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, John Powlowski is Director of Rehabilitation Services and
Physical Therapist at Catskill Regional Medical Center, where he
provides direct care to patients, and clinical and operational leader-
ship to a team oh highly trained rehabilitation professionals; and
WHEREAS, For 20 years this compassionate and accomplished man has been
committed to facilitating the best recovery possible for the countless
clients entrusted to his care, truly enhancing the quality of life in
his community; and
WHEREAS, John Powlowski, who earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at
Arcadia University, Glenside, Pennsylvania, completed his Bachelor of
Science at State University of New York at Buffalo, and his Master of
Health Science at the University of Indianapolis; and
WHEREAS, In addition to his life-affirming work, John Powlowski volun-
teers as coach to his daughter and son's soccer and T-ball teams; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, John Powlowski has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend John Powlowski upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to John Powlowski.
