LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Dr. Scot Selbo upon the occasion of
his designation for special recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY
DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Scot Selbo, MD, has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Dr. Scot
Selbo upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by
the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Scot Selbo is the Division Leader of Primary Care at the
Rock Hill office of Crystal Run Healthcare; board certified in Internal
Medicine, he also sees patients at Achieve Rehab and Nursing Home on a
weekly basis; and
WHEREAS, For ten years, Dr. Scot Selbo has served people managing
chronic medical conditions in his community, providing outstanding care
and giving them the necessary tools to rebuild their health; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Scot Selbo attended University of Maryland at College
Park, and American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine; he
completed his residence in Internal Medicine at Overlook Hospital in
Summit, New Jersey; and
WHEREAS, A resident of Rock Hill, Dr. Scot Selbo is actively involved
in his community, volunteering as coach and referee with AYSO soccer;
and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, Dr. Scot Selbo has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Dr. Scot Selbo upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Dr. Scot Selbo.
