LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Investors Bank upon the occasion of its
designation as recipient of the Community Leadership Award by the Jewish
Children's Museum on April 7, 2014
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that the quality and
character of life in this great Empire State is indelibly enriched by
the faithful efforts of those financial institutions and their leader-
ship who devote their purpose to promoting economic vitality and service
the public need; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Investors Bank upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the
Community Leadership Award by the Jewish Children's Museum, celebrated
at its 9th Annual Gala Dinner on Monday, April 7, 2014, in Brooklyn, New
York; and
WHEREAS, Investors Bank is an independent, full-service community bank
operating over 125 branches across New Jersey and New York; with more
than $16 billion in assets, they have the size, scope and talent to
deliver a full range of banking products and services; and
WHEREAS, Investors Bank serves a wide range of consumer, business,
commercial real estate, nonprofit and local government customers,
providing world-class products and services in an honest and straight-
forward manner; and
WHEREAS, In addition, its Charitable Foundation supports local and
statewide organizations that enrich the quality of life in the communi-
ties they serve; and
WHEREAS, Through its extensive branch network, Investors Bank is able
to offer a financial product line which is competitive with those of
larger financial institutions; this strength is combined with a highly
experienced, locally based management team and a clear focus on the
needs of New Jersey and New York residents, businesses and communities;
and
WHEREAS, Investors Bank works hard to always do what is right for each
and every customer, ensuring they receive the correct products and great
value, and to help them meet their everyday banking needs as well as
achieve their long-term goals; and
WHEREAS, The leading community-oriented bank in the region, Investors
Bank strives to provide high-quality products and services in an honest
and straightforward manner while operating responsibly and ethically, so
its clients, employees, stockholders and communities may prosper; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body looks favorably upon the strong role
which institutions such as Investors Bank play in strengthening the
social and economic fabric of our communities through providing growth
opportunities for citizens and businesses; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Investors Bank upon the occasion of its designation as recipient
of the Community Leadership Award, and to wish this financial institu-
tion continued success in its vital work on behalf of its customers; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Investors Bank.
