LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Eric Goldstein upon the occasion of his
selection as a Young Professional Up and Comer in the Business Community
by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those young adults within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and
WHEREAS, Eric Goldstein has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special recognition; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Eric
Goldstein upon the occasion of his selection as a Young Professional Up
and Comer in the Business Community by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT; and
WHEREAS, Eric Goldstein, Insurance Agent at The Misner Agency, Inc.,
was selected for this esteemed recognition for being hardworking, ambi-
tious, and creative; and
WHEREAS, Though he spent his early years in South Fallsburg, New York,
Eric Goldstein and his family made the move to Neversink, New York,
where in 1997, he graduated from Tri-Valley High School; and
WHEREAS, In 2001, Eric Goldstein earned his bachelor's degree in busi-
ness administration from Delaware Valley College; soon after graduating,
he found work with Merrill Lynch as part of their annuities and insur-
ance division; and
WHEREAS, Two years later, Eric Goldstein returned home to the
85-year-old The Misner Agency, Inc.; part of his duties include seeking
out new clients, retaining customers, and maintaining relationships with
the numerous insurance companies represented by the firm; and
WHEREAS, Expertly in tune to his customers' needs, Eric Goldstein
focuses on working with his clients to fit them with the best protection
and coverage; and
WHEREAS, Eric Goldstein is extremely fortunate to have a staff that
focuses on the needs of the customer, and has helped him grow profes-
sionally; and
WHEREAS, Remaining active in his community, Eric Goldstein contributes
to various area organizations, including the Federation for the Home-
less, and the NACL Theater; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his family, and his three
daughters, all of whom feel privileged to be a part of his life and
rejoice in his achievements; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Eric Goldstein upon the occasion of his selection as a Young
Professional Up and Comer in the Business Community by the SULLIVAN
COUNTY DEMOCRAT; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Eric Goldstein.
