LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Bill and Stacey McAdams of Big Frog 104
WFRG-FM upon the occasion of their designation for special recognition
by the Oneida County Office for Aging and Continuing Care

WHEREAS, Senior citizens bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to
the increasingly active roles they play in today's society; their past
contributions and future participation are a vital part of, and valuable
asset to, the fabric of community life and activity; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Bill and
Stacey McAdams of Big Frog 104 WFRG-FM upon the occasion of their desig-
nation for special recognition by the Oneida County Office for Aging and
Continuing Care; this momentous occasion will be celebrated on Wednes-
day, May 21, 2014, at the Roselawn Banquet Hall, New York, New York; and
WHEREAS, The Oneida County Office for Aging and Continuing Care pauses
to acknowledge the outstanding contributions made by individuals such as
Bill and Stacey McAdams, who, as well as Big Frog 104 WFRG-FM, are being
recognized for their outstanding contributions as an
Organization/Business in Oneida County; and
WHEREAS, Members of the older generation have helped build and shape
our Nation to be the greatest in the world; they have defended our free-
doms and values to ensure that those who come after them may have better
lives; nowhere in the nation is the legacy of their efforts more visible
and more a part of the lives of all citizens than here in the State of
New York; and
WHEREAS, Bill McAdams, also known as DJ Tadpole, and Stacey McAdams,
affectionately known as PollyWogg, have been instrumental in many commu-
nity events; and
WHEREAS, Major contributors to the Oneida County Office for the
Aging's Santa for Seniors Program, Bill and Stacey McAdams read more
than 450 nominees' profiles a year for their adoption by individuals,
families, organizations, and/or businesses in an effort to provide holi-
day gifts to the elderly in Oneida County; and
WHEREAS, Bill and Stacey McAdams have been called upon to contribute
their time and talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and
have always given of themselves unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, Steadfast and dedicated community volunteers, Big Frog 104
has been actively involved in countless organizations some of which
include: Christmas on Main Street; Boilermaker, collecting money at the
Boilermaker after-party for Mohawk flood victims; Boilermaker Kids
Run/Walk; Salvation Army collection for Herkimer County flood victims;
Heart Association Run/Walk; Tour de Cure; and Over the Edge rappel for
the Special Olympics; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of their community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Bill and Stacey McAdams have stood
constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by individuals
for the benefit of others which Bill and Stacey McAdams have displayed
throughout their lives; and
WHEREAS, It is the intent of this Legislative Body to publicly recog-
nize and commend those who have witnessed and contributed to the devel-
opments and achievements of our Nation, State, and communities over the
course of their noteworthy lives; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Bill and Stacey McAdams of Big Frog 104 WFRG-FM upon the occasion
of their designation for special recognition by the Oneida County Office
for Aging and Continuing Care; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Bill and Stacey McAdams.
