LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Noah Adam Probert upon the occasion of
his designation as recipient of the 2014 Make A Difference Award by the
Town of Hempstead

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Noah Adam Probert has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special recognition; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Noah
Adam Probert upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
2014 Make A Difference Award by the Town of Hempstead; and
WHEREAS, A Westbury, New York resident, Noah Adam Probert has been a
participant in the Camp ANCHOR Program in Lido Beach, New York for 10
years; along with his family, ANCHOR has helped him nurture a life-long
desire to help others; and
WHEREAS, His spirit, energy, and engaging personality has made Noah
Adam Probert a camp favorite; and
WHEREAS, Noah Adam Probert has been called upon to contribute his time
and talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always
given of himself unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, Noah Adam Probert has been active with United Cerebral Palsy,
the Victory Games for the Physically Challenged, the Make A Wish Founda-
tion, Toys for Tots, Island Harvest, and the Boomer Esiason Foundation;
his charming personality, and tireless work ethic has impacted each and
every one of these groups; and
WHEREAS, In addition, Noah Adam Probert cherishes the many opportu-
nities he has had to work with and mentor young people; and
WHEREAS, A physically challenged athlete, and avid bowler, Noah Adam
Probert enjoys participating in sports and recreational programs, and
often takes the stage to sing for appreciative audiences; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Noah Adam Probert has stood constant
in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Noah Adam Probert has displayed
throughout his life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Noah Adam Probert upon the occasion of his designation as recipi-
ent of the 2014 Make A Difference Award by the Town of Hempstead; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Noah Adam Probert.
