LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Dr. Marshall Marshall upon the occasion
of his retirement after 29 years of distinguished service in the field
of education

WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
recognize and acknowledge those within our midst who have made signif-
icant contributions to the quality of life therein; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Dr. Marshall
Marshall upon the occasion of his retirement after 29 years of distin-
guished service in the field of education, 13 of which he served as the
Superintendent of the Pulaski Academy and Central School District; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Marshall Marshall also served the Pulaski Academy and
Central School District as an elementary school principal and coordina-
tor of staff development and technology; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Marshall Marshall has come to be known as an exemplary
superintendent whose life's work has been dedicated to the community of
Pulaski and its children; and
WHEREAS, The knowledge and expertise this hardworking administrator
has brought to the Pulaski community makes him a clear symbol of success
for all of New York's educational leaders; and
WHEREAS, For nearly three decades, Dr. Marshall Marshall has put the
students of Pulaski first, working tirelessly to help them succeed; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Dr. Marshall Marshall upon the occasion of his retirement after 29
years of dedicated service in the field of education; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Dr. Marshall Marshall.
