LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Daniel H. Strader upon the occa-
sion of winning first place honors in the Novice Division at the 2014
Vermont Body Building Championships
WHEREAS, Athletic competition enhances the moral and physical develop-
ment of the men and women of this State, preparing them for the future
by instilling in them the value of hard work, encouraging a standard of
healthy living, imparting a desire for success and developing a sense of
determination and competition; and
WHEREAS, Excellence and success in competitive sports can be achieved
only through strenuous practice, commitment and dedication; and
WHEREAS, On April 19, 2014, Daniel H. Strader claimed first place
honors in the Novice Division of the Vermont Body Building Champion-
ships, held in Burlington, Vermont; and
WHEREAS, Daniel Strader also earned second place in the Open Competi-
tion for his weight division; and
WHEREAS, Daniel Strader, a 2005 graduate of Heuvelton High School and
a physical therapy assistant at Health Services of Northern, New York,
trained for hours every day for over 20 weeks in preparation for the
Vermont Body Building Championships; and
WHEREAS, The 2014 Vermont Body Building Championships drew people from
all over the Northeast, including the states of Vermont, New York,
Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire; and
WHEREAS, Through his dedication to the sport of body building, his
relentless diligence, and his countless hours of training, Daniel Strad-
er has achieved excellence in the sport of body building; now, there-
fore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Daniel H. Strader upon the occasion of winning the Novice
Division at the 2014 Vermont Body Building Championships; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Daniel H. Strader.
