LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Catherine Doyle, President and CEO, upon
the occasion of her retirement from Greystone Programs, Inc.

WHEREAS, Individuals who distinguish themselves in their profession and
in service to their community merit the highest commendation; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and fully in accord with its long-
standing tradition, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Catherine Doyle, President and CEO of Greystone Programs, Inc., of
Poughkeepsie, New York, upon the occasion of her retirement after 12
years of dedicated and distinguished service; and
WHEREAS, Catherine Doyle will be honored for her significant contrib-
utions to Greystone Programs, Inc. at a Retirement Celebration to be
held at the Grandview in Poughkeepsie, New York on Sunday, September 14,
2014; and
WHEREAS, Greystone Programs, Inc. is a leader in the field of advocacy
and services for people and families living with Autism and other devel-
opmental disabilities through improved cooperation and partnerships; and
WHEREAS, Catherine Doyle has cultivated at Greystone Programs, Inc. a
culture of excellence and caring in which it still feels like family and
even though it continues building its resources, has not lost sight of
its core values; and
WHEREAS, She has developed at Greystone Programs, a staff of talented
individuals whose dedication to Greystone mirrors her own, who will
ensure continued growth and innovation well into the future and who,
together with their volunteers will continue a culture of caring, which
will be her lasting legacy; and
WHEREAS, Her colleagues describe Catherine Doyle as that rare breed of
CEO who will warmly greet them every day and is a believer in the power
of a positive attitude; she worked with other executives and board
members early on to create a corporate culture centered on community
leadership, diversification of services, and financial stability and
independence; and
WHEREAS, Catherine Doyle has fittingly been honored many times for her
contributions and service to her community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Catherine Doyle, President and CEO of Greystone Programs, Inc.,
Poughkeepsie, New York, upon the occasion of her retirement after 12
years of dedicated and distinguished service; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Catherine Doyle.
