LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Mr. and Mrs. Paul Willette upon
the occasion of celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary

WHEREAS, Paul Willette of Clark's Mills and Mary Rose Cronin of Green-
wich were united in marriage on July 3, 1954, at St. Joseph's Church in
Greenwich, New York, by Father Joseph Walker and joined by their wedding
party, maid of honor Diane Doran, and best man, Leo Willette, Paul's
brother; followed by a reception at the Cambridge Hotel; and
WHEREAS, To commemorate this momentous occasion, Paul and Mary Rose
Willette will celebrate with a special Mass on July 3, 2014 to be cele-
brated at 7:30am at St. Joseph's Church by Father Martin Fischer to be
followed by a trip to St. Anne's in Sturbridge, Massachusetts; and
WHEREAS, After four years of service to the United States Navy, Paul
Willette spent years working at Stevens Thompson Paper Mill and Kmart,
and Mary Rose Willette worked for Hood and currently is the business
manager at the Saratoga Golf and Polo Club; and
WHEREAS, Wishing them continued happiness and joy are their friends
and family especially their godson, Captain David Little, USN, his wife,
Rebecca, and their children; Matthew, Luke and Sarah; and
WHEREAS, Paul and Mary Rose Willette have lived all 60 years of their
marriage in Greenwich with great dignity and genuine grace, always
demonstrating a deep and continuing concern for human values and ideals,
and in so doing, they have inspired others to do the same; and
WHEREAS, Paul and Mary Rose Willette have touched the lives of their
family and many friends through the shining example of their marriage,
which is a testament to the devotion and admiration which they possess
for one another; and
WHEREAS, The longevity of their enduring marriage truly marks a mile-
stone in life's journey, an event of personal triumph and joy; now
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Paul Willette upon the occasion of celebrating
their 60th Wedding Anniversary; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Willette.
