LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Al-Tabari Temple No. 121 on hosting
its 46th Annual Potentate Charity Ball, and honoring El-Wise Noisette,
Illustrious Potentate

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the qual-
ity of life in the communities across New York are reflective of the
concerned and dedicated efforts of organizations and individuals who
devote themselves to the welfare of the community; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is proud to commend Al-Tabari Temple
No. 121 on hosting its 46th Annual Potentate Charity Ball, March 21-23,
2014, at the Albany Holiday Inn; and
WHEREAS, Al-Tabari Temple No. 121 will pay special tribute to El-Wise
Noisette on being named Illustrious Potentate; and
WHEREAS, Al-Tabari Temple No. 121 is part of the Ancient Egyptian
Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine of North and South America and its
Jurisdictions Inc.(AEAONMS), an organization which embraces the basic
fundamental concepts of the Masonic Order with a broader spectrum of
dispensing charity in the community; and
WHEREAS, El-Wise Noisette of Albany, New York, is a local youth advo-
cate; and
WHEREAS, His commitment to his community is in direct correlation with
the mission of AEAONMS; during 2014, El-Wise Noisette has scheduled many
events and opportunities to benefit the people in his community, includ-
ing: offering holiday charity in the form of Thanksgiving meals, provid-
ing underprivileged children with holiday gifts, organizing a book drive
for Giffen and Arbor Hill Elementary schools, and mentoring students who
attend Albany High School, to name a few; and
WHEREAS, El-Wise Noisette operates Unique Photo Studios; he is known
for his diverse background and for possessing a zest for life as
captured through the lens; and
WHEREAS, Presented with a Polaroid camera, El-Wise Noisette was intro-
duced to photography by his grandmother at the age of five; passionate
about his work, he is highly sought after for his technical expertise
and expressive photojournalistic ability; and
WHEREAS, A small list of his clients for public relations photography
include: the Albany City School District, Turner Construction, Bast
Hatfield, C.T. Male, Northstar Construction Company, Capital District
Links, New York State United Teachers, and the Dormitory Authority of
the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Furthermore, El-Wise Noisette has a list of married couples
as clients whose memories of their wedding day are brought vividly to
life when they look at his photographs, as well as individuals and fami-
lies whose portraits stand out; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals and institutions of such noble aims are brought to our attention,
they should be recognized by the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Al-Tabari Temple No. 121 on hosting its 46th Annual Potentate
Charity Ball, and to honor El-Wise Noisette, Illustrious Potentate; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Al-Tabari Temple No. 121 and El-Wise Noisette.
