LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak upon the
occasion of their designation as 2015 Long Island Center for Business
and Professional Women Achievers

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to pay tribute to
outstanding individuals who distinguish themselves through their excep-
tional performance, attaining unprecedented success and the highest
level of personal achievement; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak upon the occasion of their designation as
2015 Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women Achievers;
this auspicious occasion will be celebrated at the Center's 36th Annual
Achievers' Awards Gala, to be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015; and
WHEREAS, For more than 35 years, the Long Island Center for Business
and Professional Women has been dedicated to advancing women in busi-
ness, industry and the professions; and
WHEREAS, The Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women
celebrate and honor women who are leaders, mentors and who have opened
doors for other women to help foster their rise in business, the
professions and in their community; Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak are
such individuals; and
WHEREAS, Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak are highly accredited, award
winning specialists in LTC Insurance; since 2009, they have been ranked
by The American Association of Long Term Care Insurers as top profes-
sionals in New York State and the country; and
WHEREAS, In 2014, Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak were selected as one of
the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses; today, they are the founding
partners of Karp Loshak LTC Insurance Solutions, a trusted source of
information on Long Term Care Insurance for individuals, business
owners, and employer groups; and
WHEREAS, Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak's expertise includes: Tradi-
tional Long Term Care Insurance policies, Hybrid Life/LTC plans, Life
with LTC riders, Annuity contracts with LTC benefits, financing LTC
Insurance, and providing LTC Insurance with tax and estate advantages;
and
WHEREAS, As independent brokers, Karp Loshak LTC Insurance Solutions
affiliates with all the leading LTC Insurance carriers to educate,
analyze, and recommend suitable LTC Insurance options based on health,
medications, age, marital status, budget, and lifestyle; and
WHEREAS, Karp Loshak LTC Insurance Solutions is licensed in New York,
New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, California, Massachusetts, Washington,
D.C., Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Missouri,
and South Dakota, as well as all State Partnership Plans; and
WHEREAS, In addition to co-founding Karp Loshak LTC Insurance
Solutions, Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak are both adjunct professors at
CW Post, Tax & Accounting Institute; and
WHEREAS, Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak are well regarded for their
educational platform and consultative approach; they were both recog-
nized as a resource by the WALL STREET JOURNAL and NEWSDAY for their
expertise on Long Term Care Insurance, providing valuable advice to
consumers and professional advisors; and
WHEREAS, Throughout their illustrious career with Karp Loshak LTC
Insurance Solutions, Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak have been instrumental

in helping educate on concepts including: the LTC Insurance pool of
money, the true cost of self-insuring, and why self-insuring costs more,
as well as the new landscape, and legislation and tax incentives; they
take pride in protecting a family's lifestyle, retirement, independence,
family relationships, and practice liability; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their profession and community,
and have shown a long and sustained commitment to excellence, certainly
have earned the recognition and applause of all citizens of this great
Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak upon the occasion of their desig-
nation as 2015 Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women
Achievers; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak.
