LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating the Lewis H. Latimer Public School
56 upon the occasion of hosting its 8th Annual Father and Son Breakfast
on April 25, 2015

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those institutions of true purpose and high achievement whose
exemplary programs and accomplishments clearly demonstrate an enduring
pursuit of excellence in the education of the youth of the Empire State;
and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to congratu-
late the Lewis H. Latimer Public School 56 upon the occasion of hosting
its 8th Annual Father and Son Breakfast on Saturday, April 25, 2015; and
WHEREAS, The Lewis H. Latimer Public School 56 of Brooklyn, New York
has continually demonstrated an impressive dedication, an unparalleled
devotion and an unremitting enthusiasm for the quality of educational
programs and opportunities offered for the benefit of its faculty and
students as well as for the entire community; and
WHEREAS, The steadfast and unyielding commitment of parents, educators
and administrators to provide the highest quality education for students
has become the hallmark and tradition of the Lewis H. Latimer Public
School 56; and
WHEREAS, Within the 21st Century, the Lewis H. Latimer Public School
56 stands prepared to reach out, in earnest and enthusiastic quest of
its mission, to promote the maximum growth of every student, establish-
ing standards and building skills which will carry its students and the
citizens of its community into the future; and
WHEREAS, It is only fitting that this Legislative Body extend its
highest commendation to the administration, teachers, staff and students
of the Lewis H. Latimer Public School 56 for their dedication and
commitment to education; and
WHEREAS, The Lewis H. Latimer Public School 56 has been an integral
part of the history of its community, representing a dynamic, responsive
and positive force within the educational system of New York State; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Lewis H. Latimer Public School upon the occasion of hosting
its 8th Annual Father and Son Breakfast on April 25th, 2015; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Lewis H. Latimer Public School 56, Brooklyn, New York.
