LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Alexandria Hart upon the occasion
of her induction into the Fontbonne Academy Hall of Fame on May 6, 2015

WHEREAS, From time to time this Legislative Body takes note of certain
extraordinary individuals it wishes to recognize for their valued
contributions to the success and progress of society and publicly
acknowledge their endeavors which have enhanced the basic humanity among
us all; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to congratu-
late Alexandria Hart upon the occasion of her induction into the Font-
bonne Academy Hall of Fame, to be celebrated at its Fleur de Lys Dinner
Dance, on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Gargiulo's Restaurant, Brooklyn,
New York; and
WHEREAS, Fontbonne Hall Academy, an all-girls, private, Roman Catholic
high school in Brooklyn, New York, was established in 1937, by the
Sisters of St. Joseph, and is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese
of Brooklyn; and
WHEREAS, Alexandria "Ali" Hart, the daughter of Susan and Jim Hart,
was born and raised in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn; prior to
attending Fontbonne Hall Academy, she was educated at P.S. 48, and St.
Athanasius School, Brooklyn; and
WHEREAS, Alexandria Hart is a 2000 graduate of Fontbonne Hall Academy;
while a student at the Academy, she was a member of many extra-curricu-
lar activities, including the Drama Club and Sancus; she was also the
Captain of Sports Night her Junior and Senior year, and was inducted
into the National Honor Society; she was the recipient of the J.P.
Morgan Chase Smart Start Scholarship; and
WHEREAS, Furthermore, Alexandria Hart held various leadership posi-
tions, such as Junior Class President as well as President her senior
year; and
WHEREAS, Upon graduating, Alexandria Hart earned her degree in Econom-
ics from Fordham University, New York City, concurrently working at J.P.
Morgan; throughout her 15-year tenure, she has served in several units,
including Investment Banking Training, and development and campus
recruiting; and
WHEREAS, During her time in the campus recruiting department, Alexand-
ria Hart spent two years in London visiting universities across Europe,
piquing her interest in travel; to date, she has explored 35 countries;
and
WHEREAS, When she's not traveling or working, Alexandria Hart enjoys
going to the movies and concerts, and spending time with her friends;
and
WHEREAS, Alexandria Hart has remained connected to Fontbonne Hall
Academy; she has been a frequent guest at both Sports Night and the
Fleur de Lys Dinner Dance, and has served as a class representative for
reunions, encouraging the women of the Class of 2000, to return to their
alma mater; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Alexandria Hart upon the occasion of her induction into the
Fontbonne Academy Hall of Fame; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Alexandria Hart.
