LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Howard Architzel upon the occasion of
his designation as recipient of the 2014 Dedication to Youth Award by
the Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those organiza-
tions and individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare of the
community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Howard Architzel upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
the 2014 Dedication to Youth Award by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany;
this auspicious occasion was celebrated at the Boys & Girls Clubs of
Albany's 7th Annual Red, White and Chocolate benefit on Thursday, Novem-
ber 13, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Howard Architzel is currently the Director of Project Manage-
ment for SEFCU; he is responsible for the development and oversight of
all major project initiatives, specifically coordinating with vendors
and resources to ensure timely completion of projects; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed man has been serving on the Board of the Boys &
Girls Clubs of Albany for the past four years, and is currently the
treasurer; during that time he has been instrumental in coordinating
various events including the Dodgeball Tournament, Zumbathon, and Kick-
ball Tournament, helping to raise money and awareness for Boys & Girls
Clubs programs; and
WHEREAS, Howard Architzel has also helped develop the Boys & Girls
Clubs Junior Board, where he has recruited young professionals who are
interested in participating in club events; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Howard Architzel upon the occasion of his designation as recipient
of the 2014 Dedication to Youth Award by the Boys & Girls Club of Alba-
ny; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Howard Architzel.
