LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commemorating the 25th Anniversary of Crystal
Window & Door Systems, LTD in Flushing, New York, to be celebrated on
February 7, 2015

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, it is the sense of this Legislative Body to commem-
orate the 25th Anniversary of Crystal Window & Door Systems, LTD to be
celebrated on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at a party at the Royal Queen
Banquet Hall in Flushing, New York; and
WHEREAS, Crystal Window & Door Systems was founded in 1990; from its
humble beginnings in Queens, New York, the company has grown into a
national manufacturing firm, one of the largest in North America; and
WHEREAS, Currently, Crystal Window & Door Systems is led by
Founder/CEO Thomas Chen, and his son, Steve Chen, COO; the Crystal fami-
ly, comprised of numerous companies, boasts more than 500,000 square
feet of manufacturing space in New York, Illinois, Missouri, and South-
ern California, and employs over 800 people; and
WHEREAS, Crystal Window & Door Systems is an award-winning national
manufacturer of quality, energy efficient vinyl and aluminum windows,
and high-end fenestration systems for residential, commercial, and
institutional buildings; and
WHEREAS, Crystal Window & Door Systems proudly offers quality workman-
ship, a broad product line, energy efficiency, innovative product
features, green manufacturing, and extraordinary value to its clients;
they also provide fenestration manufacturing, aluminum extrusion, and
solar energy materials; and
WHEREAS, Giving back to the community where they both work and reside,
is very important to Crystal Window & Door Systems; community awareness
is an integral part of Crystal Window & Door Systems' motto; the Crystal
family, along with their staff, proudly supports many charitable, busi-
ness, and civic organizations; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges this exceptional business and its contributions to the local and
State economies, fully confident it will continue to enjoy the sparkling
successes it has experienced thus far; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize those
businesses within the State of New York which contribute to the economic
health and vitality of the communities they serve; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Crystal Window & Door Systems, LTD
in Flushing, New York, to be celebrated on February 7, 2015; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Thomas Chen, Founder/CEO, Crystal Window & Door Systems, LTD.
