LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring James Malone upon the occasion of his
induction into the Bishop Maginn High School Hall of Fame on May 1, 2015

WHEREAS, From time to time this Legislative Body takes note of certain
extraordinary individuals it wishes to recognize for their valued
contributions to the success and progress of society and publicly
acknowledge their endeavors which have enhanced the basic humanity among
us all; and
WHEREAS, A great community is only as great as those persons and
organizations that provide exemplary service, whether through partic-
ipation in voluntary programs, through unique personal achievement in
their profession or other endeavors, or through a lifetime of good citi-
zenship; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor James Malone
upon the occasion of his induction into the Bishop Maginn High School
Hall of Fame, to be celebrated at its Induction Dinner on Friday, May 1,
2015, at Shaker Ridge Country Club, Albany, New York; in addition, he
will receive the illustrious Service Award; and
WHEREAS, James Malone is a 1973 graduate of Vincentian Institute; and
WHEREAS, The quality and character of life in this Nation, and in the
great State of New York, is reflective of the purposeful lives and good
works of those civic-minded community members who dedicate their lives
and career to the service of others; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
the Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor James Malone upon the occasion of his induction into the Bishop
Maginn High School Hall of Fame; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to James Malone.
