LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Vito DiTrapani upon the occasion of
being named the 2015 Small Businessperson of the Year by the Roslyn
Chamber of Commerce on October 23, 2015

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals who substantially contribute to the
economic vitality of their communities and the entire Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Vito DiTrapani upon the occasion of being named the 2015 Small Busines-
sperson of the Year by the Roslyn Chamber of Commerce celebrated at the
Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce's 31st Annual Small Businessper-
son of the Year Ceremony on Friday, October 23, 2015, at the Crest
Hollow Country Club, Woodbury, New York; and
WHEREAS, The Roslyn Chamber of Commerce strives to promote a strong
local economy, provide opportunities for relationship building, and
deliver programs to help business grow, as well as enhance commerce
through community stewardship; and
WHEREAS, The Roslyn Chamber of Commerce is an organization of business
leaders who work to improve their community and the areas business
climate; and
WHEREAS, The Roslyn Chamber of Commerce strengthens the community by
identifying needs, problems and opportunities; its members then develop
programs to solve problems and satisfy the needs, bringing about a heal-
thier climate in which business and the communities grow and prosper;
and
WHEREAS, An enthusiastic and valuable member of the Roslyn Chamber of
Commerce, Vito DiTrapani serves on its Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, Currently, Vito DiTrapani works as a representative for
National Energy Connection in helping people utilize solar energy tech-
nology for their homes; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Vito DiTrapani upon the occasion of being named the 2015 Small
Businessperson of the Year by the Roslyn Chamber of Commerce on October
23, 2015; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Vito DiTrapani.
