LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring the Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group upon
the occasion of its designation as recipient of the Troy Vision Award by
the Downtown Troy Business Improvement District

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those organiza-
tions and individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare of the
community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor the
Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the Troy Vision Award; this momentous occasion was cele-
brated on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Franklin Plaza, Troy, New
York; and
WHEREAS, The mission of the Downtown Troy Business Improvement
District (BID) is to cultivate and advocate for the economic growth of
Downtown Troy by creating an inviting, dynamic and sustainable community
which celebrates the city's history while building towards its future;
and
WHEREAS, The Troy Vision Award is presented to an organization who has
shown dedication to tackling community issues in Troy, New York, in an
effort to improve the quality of life; and
WHEREAS, The Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group partners with organiza-
tional leaders within the local community to facilitate meaningful and
sustainable changes, as well as assisting organizations that will help
benefit individuals in those communities; and
WHEREAS, This vital organization has been instrumental in creating
work environments which inspire collaboration, innovative thinking and
breakthrough ideas for higher performance; and
WHEREAS, In addition, the Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group has started
several successful community programs including Troy 100 and Hunger in
Troy; and
WHEREAS, Over its distinguished history, the Kaleel Jamison Consulting
Group has demonstrated continuous service to the residents and communi-
ties which it serves; and
WHEREAS, The success of the Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group is in
direct correlation to the efforts of its members, whose involvement is,
and always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an
unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in
all endeavors on behalf of the organization and the community it serves;
and
WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion presents an opportunity for this
Legislative Body to recognize and pay tribute to the Kaleel Jamison
Consulting Group; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when organiza-
tions of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be recognized and applauded by all the citizens of
this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor the Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group upon the occasion of its
designation as recipient of the Troy Vision Award by the Downtown Troy
Business Improvement District; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group.
