LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Edder Peralta upon the occasion of
being named Member of the Year by Manorville Community Ambulance

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend the concerned and caring work of citizens who voluntarily assist
in safeguarding the safety and welfare of their neighbors and community;
and
WHEREAS, Volunteer ambulance corps members are an important part of
the safety net of America's healthcare system; they provide lifesaving
care to those in need, 24 hours a day, seven days a week; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Edder Peral-
ta upon the occasion of being named Member of the Year by Manorville
Community Ambulance; and
WHEREAS, An experienced paramedic and flight paramedic for Stony Brook
Medicine, Edder Peralta has expertly contributed his skills and know-
ledge to Manorville Community Ambulance, strengthening its capabilities
and commitment to providing better Advanced Life Support care to the
community; and
WHEREAS, Edder Peralta joined Manorville Community Ambulance on August
19, 2013, with a strong desire to use his paramedic skills in a volun-
teer setting; he officially became a full member of the company on March
4, 2014; and
WHEREAS, On November 10, 2015, Edder Peralta became Training Officer
(third in command), a position in which he has served with loyalty,
honor, and distinction; and
WHEREAS, In addition, Edder Peralta has guided the newest of members
of the Manorville Community Ambulance in becoming more confident in the
EMS setting, and has assisted in the purchase and updating of ALS equip-
ment; and
WHEREAS, Today, Eddie Peralta remains focused on placing Manorville
Community Ambulance at the forefront of the EMS Community as a leader
and a provider; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when medical
professionals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Edder Peralta upon the occasion of being named Member of the
Year by Manorville Community Ambulance; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Edder Peralta.
