LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Bottini Funeral Home upon the occasion
of celebrating its 100th Anniversary

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize those
small businesses within the State of New York which contribute to the
economic health and vitality of the communities they serve; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Bottini Funeral Home upon the occasion of celebrating its 100th Anniver-
sary; and
WHEREAS, Established by Joseph Bottini in 1916, Bottini Funeral Home
has been providing bereavement services to the Utica-Rome area for three
generations; operated today by Luigi J. Bottini and his son, Michael A.
Bottini, the funeral home continues to provide the highest standard of
care, using state-of-the-art services; and
WHEREAS, For more than 60 years, Bottini Funeral Home has been located
at 120 West Embargo Street in Rome, New York; and
WHEREAS, A successful family business, Bottini Funeral Home has gained
the respect, confidence and loyalty of the community, embracing its
reputation as a premiere funeral home committed to serving all families
in Oneida County during difficult times; and
WHEREAS, After 100 years of service to its community, Bottini Funeral
Home continues to strive to celebrate the life of the deceased and
create funeral services which best accommodate the beliefs and wishes of
the family; and
WHEREAS, Small businesses such as Bottini Funeral Home exert a strong,
positive influence on the communities they serve and are a crucial
element in the economy of New York State; and
WHEREAS, The success of Bottini Funeral Home is in direct correlation
to the efforts of Luigi and Michael Bottini, whose involvement is, and
always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled
enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeav-
ors on behalf of this exceptional business and the community it serves;
and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when businesses
of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our attention,
they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of this
great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Bottini Funeral Home upon the occasion of celebrating its 100th
Anniversary; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Luigi J. Bottini and Michael A. Bottini, Owners, Bottini
Funeral Home, Inc.
